Ads and layouts

I'm rationalising the page layouts, removing under-performing advertising and replacing those ads with useful and relevant links.
It's time consuming and probably won't immediately help the performance of the site, but it does provide improved content, if only in a small way.
So a cursory glance at the site might suggest there's not much happening here, but the truth is, I'm busy as hell :)
